Harry A Weaver
Originally founded as the Fryburg Shoe Shop in 1973 by Harry A. Weaver, Weaver Leather has grown from a small shoe repair shop to a world class manufacturer of quality leather and nylon goods. While the Fryburg Shoe Shop’s primary focus was shoe repair, Harry saw opportunities to expand the business into other markets. The company began manufacturing leather horse halters, which opened the door to sell to area harness and tack shops. With the shift toward manufacturing a variety of leather goods, Harry changed the company name to Weaver Leather Goods.
Eventually becoming known as Weaver Leather, we have expanded to include five divisions (Equine, Livestock, Pet, Leather Supply and Arborist) and continue to pursue the development of new products. The acquisition of smaller manufacturers and distributors of related product lines, most recently eZall® Technologies, has also contributed to enhancing our reputation as a leader in the industry. Currently, we service customers throughout the United States and internationally to over 50 countries.
In October 2008, Capital Partners® acquired majority interest in the company and our relationship has opened the door for us to explore new product lines and opportunities in the marketplace. Our commitment to excellence in craftsmanship, product quality and customer service is as strong today as it was when the company was founded.
