Weaver Leather Livestock Opens New Fabrication Structure

Apr 18, 2016

MT. HOPE, OH – Weaver Leather LLC is pleased to announce the grand opening of a new fabrication and die manufacturing center on their campus in Mt. Hope, Ohio. Completed in March of 2016, the 20,000 square foot building has been constructed to meet the growing demand for quality manufactured steel and aluminum livestock equipment as well as increased requests for custom dies. This new building will allow for the efficient manufacturing and distribution of these products, increasing expected productivity to more than double capacity.

The new fab shop is the 14th construction addition to Weaver Leather since its humble beginnings in 1973. Known for quality manufacturing of leather and nylon goods, Weaver began building showboxes, chutes and trimming stands in 2011 to service the livestock industry. Eventually outgrowing two locations to keep up with demand, plans began and ground was broken in 2015 to house the new facility. Complete with state-of-the-art robotic welders, commercial shipping docks and a growing staff, Weaver Leather hopes that the addition of the new fab building will exceed their customers’ expectations on a completely different level.

“We have a strong desire to meet the demands of our customers and simply needed more space and resources to keep up with their orders and requests,” commented Fabrication Shop Supervisor Joe Miller. “I’m very excited about the new opportunities that will come with this new shop and workspace. Not only will we be able to manufacture, warehouse and ship these quality products efficiently, but we will have also have more space set aside for Research and Development to expand our line of innovative new products.”
